The Solution Support System (S3) is a method used to help find solutions for the issues impacting communities. The goal of the S3 is to connect likeminded and/or curious individuals together with the hopes of supporting each other with addressing issues impacting our environments. The project designer(individual filling out the form) will fill out the form with broad ideas of what is needed to address what they're concerned about. These questions were created to help guide and organize ideas for bringing change to our shared spaces. This tool should be thought of as a means to get a project or program started - an opportunity to have a shared channel of communication before creating the bigger project. This is not the only means of structure - just a potential starting point.
Once the form is filled out, a description of the project will be posted to this page. Other community members will be able to read and join in on supporting the project through the use of an interest form. After that, the interested party will be connected through an intro email with the project designer. From there, the project designer and collaborators will work together to develop an action plan. Something like this can be intimidating to those unfamiliar with project management or large scale team work - we ask that all those involved, work together with harmony as the central focus rather than the need to be right. This means establishing communication channels, conflict mediation practices & idea sharing expectations that all can agree with and respect.
As with any important project or issue, quality should come before quantity. Patience is required for any effective project of passion. We ask that you grant us with grace when working to bring these project to light so that we may be as effective as possible.
