Life is complex; we are interwoven into each other's lives akin to the butterfly effect. As a result, there are times we may cause unintentional harm. However, once we’ve been made aware of the harm, it is best practice to repair the harm in a restorative way, such as acknowledgment and atonement along with working on ways to prevent future harm.
There are times when causing harm would be necessary and thus beneficial. Such as rebreaking a leg to let it heal properly. Or compromising the comforts of others to adjust for inequities faced by vulnerable populations. On extreme occasions, the idea of sacrifice may arise in the form of choosing the lesser of two evils or bringing awareness to the greater good of a people and as an extension, the future.
The complexity of harm and its implications may cause too much ambiguity to be understood and practiced in an objective sense. To better navigate the complexity and contribute to the greater good, you may use the creed of Kofarah’s Citadel for building a healthy and ever evolving community.
Thrill seeking Uran, and his two best friends, Afeni, and Faro, are three teenagers finding their way in the world by means of their less than thrilling hometown Ipan. In their hunt for adventures in the slow yet beautiful city, filled with futuristic, modern, and ancient influences, the trio often finds themselves on the cusp of trouble.
Their latest escapade, beginning with an escape on their hover-bikes and riding horse-sized dogs, ends with the trio meeting their match when their curiosity gets the better of them when they camp out in the so-called haunted Guffun forest to celebrate Uran’s birthday.
Rather than throw a huge party for his fourteenth birthday, Uran decides to take his friends on a quest locating the phoenix-type Avem-dea bird. Uran’s search for adventure grows when he’s specifically told to not chase after the legends of the infamous woods lingering on the outskirts of Ipan.
The stories of fairies, angels and lizard people are all true, just not in the way the trio expected. Uran, Afeni and Faro work together, using their wit and nerve to face their fears and attempt to save more than just themselves when they encounter the man who can control the trees.
What is love? How many people can truly answer that question? How many have had the opportunity to know the true form of love? On paper, the last two beings thought to know what it is, would be a warrior king and a disgruntled god. But love has a funny way of building mansions for the homeless soul. Unfortunately, many do not know that home is where the heart is. And our hearts are found in infinity. One must look beyond their sight to see love dancing in the forever realm of our existence.
